The Clinton Global Initiative University conference will include Working Sessions that enable conference attendees to engage in discussions and learn from experts. The Working Sessions take place during the second day of the meeting, April 17, 2010. There will be an opportunity for University of Miami faculty and graduate students (including Law and Medical) to apply to serve as Table Facilitators during these sessions. The five focus areas of the Working Sessions will be Education, Energy and Climate Change, Global Health, Peace and Human Rights, and Poverty Alleviation. Faculty and graduate students should have expertise in one of the five areas and facilitation skills.

Apply to Become a Table Facilitator
The Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) is looking for a limited number of highly qualified candidates to serve as table facilitators during its third annual meeting, April 16th to 18th, 2010, at the University of Miami.
On Saturday, April 17th, CGI U will convene two working sessions for the 1,200 students attending the event. Each session will consist of an expert panel followed by small roundtable discussions led by a table facilitator. A qualified facilitator should have knowledge of one of CGI Uās five global challenge areas (education, environment and climate change, peace and human rights, poverty alleviation, or public health) and experience working with one of the three approaches listed below to address one of the five areas.
Facilitators are essential to providing attendees with an engaging and interactive experience. As such, CGI U is looking for only those exemplary candidates who are best suited for the role. The criteria include:
