The student volunteer application process for CGI U 2010 is here! This volunteer opportunity is open to current UM students only. Opportunities to volunteer include, but are not limited to, the following areas: team leaders, commitment projects, communications and marketing, event logistics, program logistics, membership, and hospitality.

Students interested in volunteering should complete the attached application and return it to the Butler Center for Service & Leadership in University Center, Room 240 no later than Thursday, March 25th at 5 p.m. Please remember to sign up for an interview time when dropping off your application. If you are not located on the Coral Gables campus, volunteer applications can be faxed to the Butler Center at 305-284-8828. Staff will follow up with you to schedule an interview.

Please return the completed application to the Butler Center for Service & Leadership, University Center #240 by Thursday, March 25th, at 5 p.m.  Interviews will be held on a rolling basis until March 29th. Remaining interviews will occur on Friday, March 26th, Sunday, March 28th and Monday, March 29th. Please schedule an interview when submitting the application.

Students applying to be volunteers must be available for volunteer training on Monday, April 12, from 9 to 11 p.m. and to assist with set-up on Thursday, April 15 from 7 to 9 p.m. There will also be an additional meeting on March 29 to begin to schedule student volunteers for their initial weekend shifts.  Students unable to attend these training sessions will not be eligible to volunteer at the conference. Volunteers will also receive a polo shirt to be worn throughout the CGI U 2010 conference weekend.
